We were commissioned to produce a compelling visual narrative for W2 Barbers, focusing on their Leeds location. The challenge was to deliver a seamless, immersive drone fly-through tour, capturing the unique atmosphere of the barbershop, alongside striking exterior shots and a dynamic hyperlapse. These visuals, combined with ground-level footage, were to be edited into a high-impact video advertisement. This content needed to effectively highlight the shop's unique aesthetic and accessibility, while providing a compelling visual journey that would draw potential clients to experience the W2 Barbers atmosphere firsthand through an engaging advert.

OUR APPROACH
Our W2 Barbers project commenced with detailed pre-production planning. Each drone shot, including the fly-through tour and hyperlapse, was meticulously storyboarded. Mandatory risk assessments were conducted, and comprehensive airspace checks ensured safe drone operations. Prior to the main shoot, practice runs were conducted without customers present to verify a clear route and ensure shoot safety.
To comply with CAA regulations, all present customers were informed and reassured prior to flight. On-site, the DJI Avata 2 captured the dynamic interior fly-through, while the DJI Mavic 3 Pro delivered high-resolution exterior shots and the hyperlapse. High-quality video footage was acquired, and professional editing ensured a seamless, visually engaging representation of W2 Barbers’ location and atmosphere, tailored for use in their promotional video.
